Project Overview

This is my personal portfolio website, which I developed to showcase my work, skills, and experiences in a professional and accessible way. The project was built entirely based on my own requirements, giving me full control over both the design and functionality. I chose Svelte as the primary framework because of its simplicity, flexibility, and ability to deliver fast, optimized web applications tailored to my needs.

The user interface (UI) design takes inspiration from Jekyll and AcademicPages, which are well-regarded for their minimalistic and clean layouts. In particular, I was influenced by Minimal Mistakes, a popular theme known for its readability and focus on content.

Features

  • Dedicated Project Pages:
Each of my projects has its own dedicated page, providing a detailed explanation of the project’s objectives, technologies used, features, and future enhancement. This allows visitors to get an in-depth understanding of my work.
  • Projects Page with Search Functionality:
The main Projects page includes a search bar that enables users to easily find specific projects by keywords, improving navigation and user experience.
  • Responsive Design:
The entire website is fully responsive and optimized for all devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones. The layout adapts seamlessly to various screen sizes to ensure a smooth browsing experience.
  • Resume Page with View and Download Options:
There is a dedicated Resume page where visitors can view my resume directly on the website. Additionally, a download button is available for those who wish to save a copy for later reference.

Technical Implementation

The portfolio is developed using Svelte as the front-end framework, which allows for efficient and reactive user interfaces. For styling, I incorporated Tailwind CSS, which provides utility-first classes and enables rapid development of custom, responsive designs.

Future Enhancements

  • Professional Styling Improvements:
I plan to enhance the overall visual aesthetics of the website to give it a more polished and professional appearance. This includes refining typography, color schemes, and layout consistency.
  • Improved Readability on Project Pages:
I intend to redesign the layout of each project explanation page to ensure better readability. This includes adding more spacing, clearer section headings, and an overall structure that makes the content easier to navigate and digest.
